As the pastry chef and owner of Blissful Bites, Seungho Yoo creates delicacies that fill a void in Inner Richmond. He features a tempting array of beautifully presented French and American pastries, cakes and cookies.  His mouthwatering desserts are created using only the finest ingredients.  He often tested his recipes on his wife and his two beautiful girls who were the only toddlers having fresh brioche for breakfast.  At Blissful Bites he only uses the freshest ingredients, herbs, and spices to create refreshing, dazzling desserts. Though raised in Korea, Seungho’s childhood was filled with the rice cakes, red bean pastries, dates, pine nuts, and other desserts of his native country.  Educated in Korea where he earned his degree in International Business, Seungho discovered his passion for pastry at a young age he would often help his mother and grandmother prepare traditional Korean pastries for special occasions.  Attending the California Culinary Academy where he received his certificate in Breads/Pastries was the first of many steps where he would pursue his dreams and passions to create exquisite pastries for everyone to enjoy.

All of his goodies are baked from scratch daily and use butter in their morning pastries, cookies, etc. and they do not use shorting or margarine.  One of the reasons why Seungho's patrons love his pastries is because of the fermentation that he puts in his daily breads/pastries.
